Hi, I'm Jessi (she/her/any)

I am a playwright and librettist based in Seattle, WA.

I am a 2026 Dramatists Guild Foundation National Musical Theater Fellow, and a member of the Dramatists Guild of America.

My work is always steeped in laughter, and interrogates raw human emotions within speculative situations. I'm especially interested in writing work that interrogates concepts of family, class, the natural world, queerness, anxiety, loneliness, and social responsibility.

When I'm not writing, I love taking long walks in the woods and reading books about Pacific Northwest history.
