But when a surprise inspection of the ship becomes her dream job offer, Sue is left with a dilemma–accepting the position means leaving Hijinx behind.

As they embark on an interstellar road trip, encounter a collapsing robot city, and face a deceptively idyllic virtual reality, Hijinx and Sue question their places in each other’s lives, as well as their responsibility to the broken world around them.
